A seasoned Project management Professional (PMP) credential holder with 02 years of experience in organizational project and quality management (OPM3, CMM, ISO) Mr. Triana has collaborated with large consulting firms at the regional and global levels, European financial services companies and global online education providers. Currently he is the Managing Director of Practical Thinking Group, acting as consultant in private and government organizations across Latin America, Brazil and US managing several programs and project across different industries, including government, mining, construction, telecomm, financial services, information technology and development projects among others. Additionally, he acts a Project Management and Leadership Consultant with the InterAmerican development Bank (IADB).

A Colombian and Mexican citizen and resident of the United States and Chile, Mr. Triana has lived and worked in several countries during the last 15 years. Laxman, in March 2001, has tormented Steve Waugh's thought-to-be-invincible Australians with a majestic 281 to stand the Kolkata Test on its head. He had another wonderful series against the Australians in 2003-04 with two centuries, one of them involving a back-from-the-dead, match-winning, 300-plus partnership with Kolkata ally Rahul Dravid at Adelaide, he had many dazzling.

Presently as the Managing Director of Hyderabad Metro Rail Limited, he is heading the mega Hyderabad Metro Rail project (72 km). Implementation of this project with an estimated cost of about US $2.35 billion (`14,132 crore) under public private partnership (PPP) with innovative financial engineering and project structuring is his bold initiative in mass transit systems and urban infrastructure development. It is the world's largest Metro rail project being implemented in PPP mode.

He is an expert in Rail Transportation & Power sectors, Finance, Urban Transportation, Urban Governance, Project Structuring, Project Management and PPPs.
