MD's Message

As we move towards the next phase of economic growth, the role of project management will be more critical than ever before. The mega programs like Digital India, Smart Cities, Clean Ganga, and Make in India etc. have rightly set the direction for economic growth as well as for inclusiveness and development. For realizing benefits of these crucial initiatives, it is imperative that the projects are professionally managed with proven scientific approach, risk management techniques, better contingency planning, etc. Moreover, it is a globally recognized fact that projects/programs management processes help to bridge the chasm between high-level strategic vision and successful outcomes. Thus, in view of mammoth investment requirements envisaged, the government and organizations in India should urgently realize and develop project management capability.

Mr. Raj Kalady
Managing Director, PMI India
